About the founder
The founder Dr Ben Lane has spent two decades working in technology and decarbonisation, with particular focus on the electrification of transport.
At Zapmap, which he co-founded in 2010, Ben served as CTO and helped scale the company from startup to Series A, building the UK's leading EV charging platform.
The combination of being a co-founder, successful fundraising, and managing established businesses means Ben has first-hand experience of the founder's journey from startup to scale-up.
